How did you find the exam?
Feedback would be good!

No longer can you say you have nothing to do for German! This blog is designed for Year 12 and 13 IB students. You will find links to useful sites, up-to-date information, and grammar revision.

Hi steph
We're not really sure how it went it started off well and we were all confident with text A but text D for our written response was difficult. Paper 2 wasn't too bad i did make a really stupid mistake but hopefully it won't do too much damage to my mark. There were a few of the picking the right word questions that we didn't like too especially the one where they didn't actually give us any options of words to pick. Thats the feedback from most of the group after the exam anyway. I think we've done harder papers in the past though.
Thanks
Laura
Paper 1 was ok i thought, actually quite fair but paper 2 was a bit strange, i answered question 4 and i think that because the topic was so serious (i wrote about the third world)i may have trivialised the situation because of the vocabulary i used. Hopefully they dont expect the sophistication that could have been achieved if writing in english and appreciate that my vocab about the third world isnt huge.
All in all i think i was well prepared and strangely enough i didnt panic on paper 1 which was strange. I dont think we could have done anymore and i just hope the grades reflect that.
Thanks for everything Steph you really have worked wonders over the last 2 years and you sent us into the exam as prepared as we could have been. I just hope i can get that 4 or even a 5 :D
